Huang Zengyan was born in Taizhou, Guangdong Province in 1959. He earned a master’s degree from the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy in 1991. He is an associate professor at the Guanzhou Fine Arts Museum, an artist with the Guangdong Painting Studio, and deputy director of the Guangdong Watercolor Research Society. Exhibitions: He won the first prize at the ninth National Fine Arts Exhibition. His works are included in the “Complete Works of Chinese Modern Fine Arts” and “50 Years of New China’s Fine Arts.” His publications include “Techniques of Watercolor Landscape and Still Life” and “Basic Watercolor Techniques.”
